You were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light, for light produces every kind of goodness and righteousness and truth (Ephesians 5:8-9).
Remember the great challenge of the sufferings that you had to meet after you received the light, in earlier days; sometimes by being yourselves publicly exposed to humiliations and violence, and sometimes as associates of others who were treated in the same way. (Heb 10:32-33)
For you not only shared in the sufferings of those who were in prison, but you accepted with joy being stripped of your belongings, knowing that you owned something that was better and lasting. (Heb 10:34)
Therefore, do not make any judgment before the appointed time, until the Lord comes, for he will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will manifest the motives of our hearts, and then everyone will receive praise from God (1 Cor 4:5).
He will make justice dawn for you like the light; bright as the noonday shall be your vindication. (Ps 37:6)
Do not lose your fearlessness now, then, since the reward is so great. (Heb 10:35)
